The motifs in 100 Micro Crochet Motifs were incredibly tiny, so tiny that capturing their delicate details posed a unique challenge. Styling the shoots was particularly fiddly due to the miniature nature of the items and the tiny props used alongside them, requiring careful placement and attention to detail to ensure everything looked natural and clear. To convey just how small these intricate designs are, I combined plenty of flat lay photography with familiar props to provide clear scale references.

Alongside this, clean, precise cutouts on the instruction pages helped highlight each motif’s fine craftsmanship. For the cover, I envisioned using a magnifier to emphasize the micro scale theme, while simultaneously showcasing the impressive variety of motifs featured in the book. And of course, the vibrant rainbow design was simply too delightful not to include, as it adds a playful pop of color that perfectly complements the creative spirit of the project.
